ACL Manager 2.3.1 released
ACL Manager 2.3.1 is just released and contains a few bug fixes and improvements, reported by users after the release of ACL Manager 2.3.0 with the Enhanced Diagnostics tool on January 3, 2013. Thank you for your feedback!
Smarter diagnostics: more Asset Issues fixed
Thanks to the improved Asset Diagnostics tool of ACL Manager more asset issues were found on sites that looked 'fixed' before for the users of ACL Manager.
But due the smarter asset checks a few bugs were found in ACL Manager 2.3.0 as well. Mainly on migrated Joomla 1.5 sites where articles and categories had an asset_id of 0 in their database tables that confused the check of ACL Manager. This is now fixed and ACL Manager is now also able to fix all articles and categories with an asset_id of 0.
Fixed: loading of Users and User Groups
Other reported bugs were related to the new control panel of ACL Manager that loads Users and User Groups dynamically via JSON for speed improvements. Most of the websites with these issues are using JomSocial and/or the JSN PowerAdmin template. This version of ACL Manager contains a work-around for these issues.

How to update ACL Manager?
If you have an active subscription you can easily update ACL Manager via the built in live-update feature. To use this feature you need to set your "Download ID" in the ACL Manager component options. You can find your personal Download ID in the member area. It is still possible to download ACL Manager in the Member Area and install the package via the Joomla installer. It is not required to uninstall your existing version of ACL Manager first.
